Dr.Reyzelman

Dr. Alexander M. Reyzelman received his B. S. in Biology from University of San Francisco in 1991. He then graduated from California College of Podiatric Medicine and went on to complete a three-year residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio .( www.diabeticfoot.org ) In his final year at San Antonio he was given the privilege of being the academic chief resident.

After completing his surgical training, Dr. Reyzelman moved back to the Bay Area where he lives with his wife Victoria and two sons David and Eric.

Dr. Reyzelman has been in private practice since 1998 in San Francisco and Castro Valley .

Dr. Reyzelman is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery.

In addition, Dr. Reyzelman loves teaching and is currently an assistant professor and Chair of the Department of Medicine at the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt. ( www.samuelmerritt.edu )

Dr. Reyzelman is also heavily involved in research and has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and is a member of numerous professional associations such as American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA), and American Diabetes Association (ADA).
