Dr. Marat Kazak received his Bachelors of Science in Neuroscience, Physiology, and Behavior from University of California at Davis in 2005. He then graduated from California School of Podiatric Medicine in 2011 and moved to Miami, FL to complete a three year comprehensive lower extremity surgical residency at the Miami Veterans Hospital. During his final year of residency, he acted as chief resident for the Podiatry Service at the VA Hospital. After completing his residency in 2014, Dr. Kazak returned to Sacramento, California where he currently lives with his wife and daughters. Dr. Kazak’s residency training included all aspects of lower extremity care with an emphasis on medical and surgical diabetic lower extremity care, sports medicine, and reconstructive surgery.
